The College model is a work of art enriched by artisanal details such as the serrated vamp, the details on the heel and the hand-made side seams. The craftsmanship is also reflected in the blake construction, a shoemaking technique in which a single seam joins the sole, lining, upper and insole, previously assembled provisionally by the craftsman. This artisanal sewing, made possible by the machine invented by Blake, takes place after the extraction of the last.
